Deutsch2

Larry Deutsch, MD

Dr. Deutsch is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has specialized in spine surgery for more than 25 years. After attending the University of New York at Albany for college, Dr. Deutsch earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical School in Syracuse New York.  Residency and fellowship training was at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and New York Orthopedic Hospital. As the European consultant for pediatric and Orthopedic spine surgery at Landstuhl Army Regional Medical Center in Germany, he went on special assignments in Moscow and Iraq during which he earned several medals and two bronze campaign stars. He was head of the Interdisciplinary Spine Service at Cooper University Hospital for ten years. He was also an adjunct instructor of orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Medical College, Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He cofounded the Cooper Shriner spine fellowship program and has trained both orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons in spine surgery.  Dr. Deutsch has been on the cutting edge of the innovative procedures, which he has taught in both local and national settings.

MItchell

William Mitchell, MD

Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified neurological surgeon, and focuses his practice on treatment of spinal disorders. Dr. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, followed by his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He then completed an internship in general surgery, followed by residency in neurological surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Hospital.  He completed  fellowship training in spine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Mitchell performs surgeries at  Virtua Marlton and JFK Medical Center, Edison, NJ.  He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Medical Association and North American Spine Society. He is on the Board of Directors of the North American Spine Society and has served as program chair for the annual meeting.  He has given many lectures at various professional medical association meetings and seminars.  Dr. Mitchell is also involved in ongoing research related to minimally invasive spinal surgery.

Momi

Kam Momi, MD

Dr. Momi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose focus is exclusively on the neck and spine. After earning his bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Momi completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, in New York City, followed by a residency in orthopedics at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School.  Finally, he completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the prestigious New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Dr. Momi is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He has lectured on spine and neck surgery at various international meetings, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, the New Jersey State Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Meeting, and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Hospital.

Testauiti

Mark Testaiuti, MD

Dr. Testaiuti is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes exclusively in spine care and complex spinal surgery. He earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. After graduating, he completed his residency in neurological surgery at the Albert Einstein Medical College/Montefiore Medical Center where he was chief resident. Dr. Testaiuti then joined the Cooper Health System’s Neurosurgery division at UMDNJ-Robert Wood University Hospital and became an assistant professor of Neurosurgery, then chief of the Division of Neurosurgery until entering private practice in 2002. Dr. Testaiuti has been on staff at Virtua since 1998 where he partnered on the development of Virtua Marlton's spine program that resulted in Virtua becoming one of only a few hospitals nationally to receive JCAHO certification in spine care. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.

Lenchak

Jaime Lenchak, M.S., PA-C

Jaime Lenchak is a certified Physician Assistant who joined Coastal Spine in 2004. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Neuroscience.  She then attended Philadelphia University where she earned her Physician Assistant Master’s Degree.  Jaime works part time in the Emergency Department and is a consultant for a non-profit company promoting Health and Wellness.  She is also a committee member for Bancroft Neurohealth,  a center for children and adults with neurodegenerative disorders.  She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Mason

Bernadette Mason, M.S., PA-C

Bernadette Mason is a certified Physician Assistant who joined Coastal Spine in 2012. She graduated from Ursinus College with degrees in both Biology and Spanish.  She then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her Physician Assistant Master’s Degree in 2011.  She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jarmain

Scott Jarmain, MD

Dr. Jarmain is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as pain management.  He focuses on nonsurgical care of spine disorders. He performs spinal injections for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes throughout the entire spine.  He completed a residency at Temple University/Moss Rehab Hospitals in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, followed by a Musculoskeletal/Spine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Jarmain has also provided medical care and support for athletes, including teams at Johns Hopkins University, Philadelphia University, and the USA Golden Gloves Boxing team. He has served as a staff physician at the Baltimore Marathon and at several Special Olympics events. Dr. Jarmain has co-authored many articles and chapters related to sports, spine, and pain management.  He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Spine Society, the American Pain Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Paul

Michael J. Paul, DO

Dr. Paul is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation and deals solely with the nonsurgical treatment of neck and back pain.   He performs spinal injections using fluoroscopy for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.  After a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps, he earned his undergraduate degree from Rowan University. He was then accepted into the graduate program in Biomedical Sciences at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He earned his medical degree and completed an internship in internal medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Paul completed his residency at Temple University Hospital where he was chief resident and today he maintains his affiliation with Temple’s program. Dr. Paul is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Scholl

Seth Scholl, DO

Dr. Scholl is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation and deals solely with the nonsurgical treatment of neck and back pain.  He is an expert in prescribing physical therapy and diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries.  He carefully compares your history, physical exam and radiological studies to come up with a diagnosis.  Your plan will then be laid out, all in an attempt to avoid surgery.  Dr. Scholl studied at Binghamton University and earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship at Long Beach Medical Center, followed by  his residency at Temple University/Moss Rehab Hospitals in physical medicine and rehabilitation.  He is the director of electrodiagnostics in which he performs all the “pain-less” EMG’s and supervises the intraoperative monitoring if your having spine surgery. 
He maintains his affiliation with Temple University and is an Associate Professor. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Ruddy

Wendi Ruddy, MSN, APNC

Wendi has an extensive background in providing nursing and primary medical care to the adult and geriatric population.  She works specifically with the physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians focusing on non-surgical treatments of the neck and spine.  She works closely with physician support for evaluation of new patient visits and follow up visits.  Her role includes evaluation and diagnosis of musculoskeletal problems through history, physical examination and radiologic studies.  She is qualified to order and interpret radiologic imaging studies, order physical therapy, order prescription and non-prescription medications and treatments. She can provide in office injections for treatment of common muscle and joint disorders.
